For Cheekinis®, it began with the ocean.

Growing up across Latin America, the beach was more than a destination—it was a way of life. It was where confidence, femininity, and effortless style came together. Swimwear wasn’t reserved for vacations; it was part of everyday living and an expression of individuality.

After moving to Southern California, it became clear that something was missing. Swimwear known for its flattering silhouettes, exceptional quality, and effortless elegance was surprisingly difficult to find.

Rather than searching for the perfect swimsuit, a new journey began.

Between 2015 and 2016, Cheekinis® was founded with a simple vision: to create premium reversible swimwear that combined timeless design with exceptional craftsmanship. Every piece was thoughtfully designed to offer two distinct looks in one, giving women greater versatility without compromising quality, comfort, or style.

From the very beginning, every collection was handcrafted using carefully selected fabrics and meticulous attention to detail. The goal was never to create fast fashion, but to design pieces women would reach for year after year—styles that felt just as beautiful seasons later as they did the day they were first worn.

Ten years in, that same philosophy is taking a new shape.
